Relationships come in more shapes than most therapists are trained for. At Rhizome, we are experienced in working with many different typed of relationships. We provide affirming, sex-positive, kink-aware therapy for relationships of every configuration: monogamous, open, polyamorous, and everything that doesn't fit neatly into a box. We work with polycules, metamours, and chosen family, not only couples. In our relationship work we focus on:

• Communication, conflict, and repair

• Opening, restructuring, or renegotiating a relationship

• Jealousy, boundaries, and care across multiple partners

• Disclosure, family, and community as a queer or non-monogamous person

• Intimacy and desire, including kink and BDSM dynamics, without judgment

We see clients in person at our Arcata and Eureka offices in Humboldt County and online by telehealth across California. We accept Partnership Health Plan, several commercial plans,  and private pay.
